Hi All, I currently have Sketchup 7 (SP3) running on a Windows XP machine and I would like to upgrade to Sketchup Pro 2013. I have the 2012 version of Pro and would like to know if Sketchup Pro 2013 will run on my machine or if I need to purchase SP3 and a new copy of Pro. Thank you
I have a quick question, I have a Windows 7 box using Sketchup pro 2012, with about 7 or so license keys, I want to have some way to be able to automatically upgrade license keys when I have a new batch of license keys from the CAD industry. Is there anyway to do this?? I know its a long shot but it would be worth a shot.Thank you
I have a Windows 7 x64 laptop, and I am using Sketchup Pro 2012 and it's about 6 licenses. Every other time I update to a new license, it prompts me to re-activate. I would like to have it so that whenever I update to a new license, it automatically re-activates, instead of me having to go to the site and re-activate. I have been on the support site and have not found any other way to accomplish this. Is there any way to do this?
My thoughts:You can get the computer serial number using the WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation) interface. WMI is an interface to the underlying Windows operating system, which is used to manage the system. WMI is accessed through the command-line or with a program called the WMI Explorer.
If you really want to do this, look up WMI and see if you can find the information you need. You might also be able to use Group Policy or Active Directory to assign the serial number, but I'd strongly urge you to try to find a more elegant solution to the problem.
Whether you're just starting out or just thinking about how to break into a new market, I want to share some of my Sketchup tips, and tell you how I've made my process a little more efficient and productive.
Also if I upgrade to a license key where I pay per user, can I use that info to spin up a virtual machine and use it? Should I only purchase one license and keep the virtual machine or can I spin up more if needed?
Hello,I have just purchased a copy of the SketchUp Pro 2013 software. I would like to have it in the capacity of an install disc (CD, DVD, whatever) so that I can install it on a number of computers. Is this possible? 827ec27edc
