On 10 August 2012, they released their third studio album, Pursuit. This album was released on 3 September 2012 via Discograph Records . The art work was created by Bruno Joâ’rriet . The art design for the album cover was created as a collaboration with Jaquet for a release in 2012. For the album artwork, Joâ’rriet was inspired by an image taken from an old book, which sent him into his own researches about the history of the world, and has allowed him to create a new vision for a band that has always been about evolution. The album art design was officially unveiled on the band’s website, and made available on the band’s Facebook page. The band also went to the "Technic'art" Electronic Festival in Montbui, to unveil the cover art of the single that is released on September 6. The song “Moved to be free” on the album was also officially premiered at the Technic'art Festival in Montbui. The single was released on Discograph Record. The label was created by the band in question.
The album features vocalist Bruno Joâ’rriet who has been a regular collaborator with the band, since 2004, this album marks the first official release on the label that was created by the band in question.
The band themselves have stated they are influenced by a number of bands, such as Nirvana, Pearl Jam, the Misfits, and The Big Three. They also cite artists such as Linkin Park, Korn, AC/DC, and Pussy Riot. The music used for some of the band's releases have been playing live for a number of years upon their respective release dates, while others have only just been approved for release. Examples
On the 2 July 2011 Stuck in the Sound released their first official remix of the year, a re-edit of the song Sound of Your Black Eyelids. Pursuit was originally the second to be released on the band's forthcoming studio album Le Chat Sauvage, which was released on 16 October 2012.
